We are looking for an accomplished Finance Manager to join our Finance team as part of our financial services business in Hong Kong.

About the Role

The Finance Manager will service in our Finance department and will be responsible for the Finance function in our Hong Kong office.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Will be responsible for the financial reporting for jurisdictions including Hong Kong, Singapore and UAE
  • Will need to be able to manage, supervise and develop a finance team
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budgets, board reporting, cashflow management and financial forecasts for multiple legal entities
  • Monitor and coordinate detailed reporting and submissions regarding key areas of financial performance, statutory and regulatory accounts, including local tax filings
  • Oversee the annual audit for stand-alone and consolidated structures
  • Manage and supervise all financial transaction cycles and monitor client balances
  • Ability to partner with the business on relevant finance topics and KPIs
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • On occasion during busy periods there may be a requirement to work outside of normal working hours

 

 

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • Proven management skills relating to processes, work flows, training and development of the local Finance team, which includes various levels of professionals
  • Highly organized, efficient, and have project management skills in order to lead planned initiatives
  • Responsible for adhering to the finance policies and procedures manuals within the team, and will be involved in monitoring of global transfer pricing policies
  • Completed an internationally recognized accounting designation (e.g. HKICPA, CPA or ACCA)
  • A minimum of 8 years’ post-qualified experience and at least 4 years’ audit experience, preferably in the Big 4
  • Held a similar managerial role at an equivalent level for at least 3 years
  • A self-starter with the ability to independently and pro-actively manage upcoming deliverables
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong & International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Familiarity with VAT and transfer pricing models will be an asset for this role
  • Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
